Meal Planning Monday (5th November 2012)

Remember, remember...

Cripes. It's November already.  And back to school today - this is the slippery slope now down to Christmas, it will be December before we know it!

I'm trying to do a bit of proper meal planning this week despite being on a diet and finding that ready meals are helping me to keep to target. I've lost nearly 7.5lbs in the last 3 weeks which I'm obviously pleased with and I'd like to keep that up for the next few weeks as in December I am totally NOT going to be dieting. With this in mind, I am restraining from eating any mince pies until December 1st. This is a test of true strength as I am a mince pie fiend but needs must.

This week I shall be mainly eating vegetable based dishes - luckily I love vegetables so I can fill myself up on as many as a like but it's finding something interesting to do with them, I can't keep roasting them. Meal planning for the rest of the family will include toad-in-the-hole, shepherd pie and macaroni cheese again. Proper comfort food and their favourite meals!  

We've also got a Bonfire party next weekend so need some things cooked for that - might make some cakes and need to make a vegetarian chilli - so if you've got a food recipe let me know.
